It's cold out there!!!!!
Over the past two nights, the temps have dropped below 0 at the headwaters, so river temps have dropped now as well. Look for fish in the deeper runs and pools. Place a nymph right in their face and get a good, slow drift....

Get out there while you can....
Fishing is good now but sporadic. Post spawn fish are on streamers at the tails of runs and lots of fish are picking up Red Copper Johns dragging a #20 Baetis nymph. Not much surface activity at all, but the weather is nice and the fish are willing. That won't last much longer.....
